I CANNOT WAIT TO VOTE FOR OBAMA.
Even though I disagree with him on some things, I feel we can work with him - and I suspect that some of those things that bother me, he's not as not as dead-set on as we might think.

I am chomping at the bit to cast my vote for him. And it's not just because b*s* will be gone - hell, the guy and his crew belong in PRISON, the end of his term isn't even close to a satisfactory end for me - it's because I *want* Obama to win.

I don't expect miracles. The country's in shambles. But what matters is that I think Obama truly cares that it's in shambles, and he wants to try to set things right. Even if he fails. Anyone who fights the odds to do the right thing has my vote and support.

Plus, I know what to say to all those fascist assholes (or fascholes, if you will) who chanted "four more years" after the commander-and-thief stole Ohio, only to see their politics fail utterly and realize their grip on power is slipping away forever...

ONE MORE WEEK!

ONE MORE WEEK!

4. I can't wait either but I'm more excited about our swing state voters to vote
I'm in Maryland, so basically my vote just helps with a mandate. I can't wait to see the results start pouring in from VA (where I recently moved from) and PA (where I lived most of my life) and MO (where I was born).

5. I don't agree w/him on everything, either. But I think he has the right stuff. And I voted early!
What state do you live in that doesn't have early voting? Has there been any talk there of early voting? It helps A LOT! It's so convenient. And though it's expensive for the state (my state is TX), it's easier on the state in that it prevents that last minute huge personnel and practical effort in getting the votes counted and reported.

11. We do not have early voting in MI. Small town here, so it should
still be okay. Snow is on the pumpkins in Yooperland, dressing warm on next tuesday morn, just in case.

12. I went and cast an early ballot today.
It feels good.

And this evening an Obama phone banker called and asked me if I'm planning to vote for Obama. I said "No." Shocked silence. Then I told her that my wife and I had already gone & voted straight Democratic.
