Okay, what's up with the tax cut?
Why is the media saying that Biden and Obama are lowering the income amount to $200,000 or even $150,000? Why are they saying that?

2. It's just a proposed policy.
All stump speeches are laughable until someone is elected and can implement/influence policy.

The only recourse is to boot them 4 years later if you don't like it.

3. Probably because they were told by McNasty to say it and they always do as they are told
As long as its the repukes who are telling them. They won't question the RW talking points just amplify them.

4. Biden corrected himself at the same time, within 20 seconds
Republicans took his gaff and ran with it.

5. 250K = not a penny more in taxes. Other levels will get cuts.
Edited on Tue Oct-28-08 06:07 PM by Overseas
I think that's some of the over-hyped confusion.

250K and less will NOT PAY A DIME MORE than they do now.

The different amounts below that are cited when different angles are discussed. i.e. Who will get a tax cut? Who will get the biggest tax cut? etc.

I wish the TV talkers would then ask if John McCain's plan to tax medical benefits applies equally to those making $25K per year and those making $250K per year. (It does. Both will pay taxes on their medical benefits!)

9. Actually, $250K gets (per family) gets a cut, 250-600K stays pretty much the same (or tiny increase)
increases don't really kick in until >600K.

8. It's just typical spin and a complete corrupt media, only we can combat this by posting the truth >
door to door in leaflets especially in red areas.
