A confession: Since I posted the article linked below, about catching a Republican jerk trying to steal my Obama sign off a very public median on Sunday morning, not 12 hours after I had put it out there, I have avoided driving by the spot for the past two days.

Read the post. It's unbelievable. 9AM on a Sunday morning, full-on traffic, and this brazen idiot was caught red-handed by me trying to rip my Obama sign out of the ground. It was karmic I guess, that I happened to be making that one drive-by the sign I had put out the night before, as I was on my way to pick up a Sunday breakfast for us.

Well, tonight I drove by, and it's still there! Warped from the attempted theft a bit, but still standing! I guess the little shit was scared off after I slowed down and then followed him to his neighborhood. And I guess others have figured it must be hard to steal, since it clearly bears the signs of an attempted theft and is still there.

I was tempted to sneak out tonight to straighten it up, but I don't know if I can. And in a way, I'm glad it's been skewed a bit, it shows people what kind of utter nasty, evil, immature little fuckers are out there who hate Obama.

It's still standing though. Yay! :woohoo:

I had to laugh when my wife told me this. They have nothing left but feeble vandalism outburst.
