Here is an email I got from the McLame campaign!
Here is an email I got from a bogus email account I registered with McLams web site. They say that OUR polling shows McLame is within one. I say bullshit, no way they have our REAL internals.

=====================================================
Steve, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for this work, for your time, and for your devoted commitment on behalf of the team that America needs to keep it safe and secure – and that would maintain our free-market principles and traditional way of life.

Let me offer you an “inside scoop.” Friday night, we had a briefing from the McCain-Palin campaign’s political director, Mike DuHaime. He mentioned that a reporter provided the campaign with an Obama internal poll showing the race within two points. You can be assured that this poll is more accurate than the mainstream polls that you’re seeing in the media. This is because an honest campaign would seek to filter all the “noise” and other clutter that can result in a biased poll in order to get the best information at that point in time. External polls lack that particular incentive.

So don’t let the Mainstream Media bums get you down! You are part of an historic effort that could turn the conventional wisdom (which in politics is usually wrong) on its head. No one thought that Harry Truman would win in 1948. But he did (remember the famous Chicago Tribune headline, “Dewey Defeats Truman?”) Moreover, the exit polls in 2004 showed John Kerry defeating George W. Bush in several key Red states. It didn’t happen. There are many such examples.

Nonetheless, John McCain and Sarah Palin need you to continue to make those calls on behalf of the campaign in order to preserve the American way of life.

Therefore, Steve, I urge you to keep your chin up, your fingers dialing those numbers, and maintain your faithful spirit to the cause of liberty!

With best wishes,
Rob Brantley
