22. Most letters have a movie or two, though many not from the US
If you go to www.imdb.com and do a search by title you can find a bunch of them. I actually found a US movie "G" starring Blair Underwood http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0291928/.

3. It should have Julia Stiles in it ...

I don't care what part she plays though.

Roseanne should play Sarah Palin for the scenes on the election.

4. Actually, I predict Will Smith will do an Obama movie in about 10-15 years
He makes more sense for the role in my opinion.

Truly he ruins all films for me. I can't tolerate Will Smith. Anyway, I'm also still supporting Blair Underwood.

18. As I said...He ruins EVERY film I've seen him in.
I don't see him as a brilliant actor. He annoys me and he always seems half asleep when he's trying to be serious. I'd rather someone else who definitely has more presence playing the Obama. Will Smith just has the name, but from what I've seen no substance. Not to mention he takes the Black fans for granted..."Unlike Tom Cruise I'll always have a devoted fan base because there are not many of us representing." ---paraphrased. That on top of his lack luster acting is not impressive.

I'm not a fan of his and never will be. Not to mention he can't even stand in the same light as Denzel as an actor (and I think Denzel needs a break).

7. In 2001 there was a movie called "O" starring Mekhi Phifer- from ER
In this modern version of Shakespeare's 'Othello', Odin James is the black star of the basketball team at an otherwise white boarding school. He is headed for big time with his sport and is in love with Desi, the most popular girl in school. Meanwhile, Hugo is the coach's son, but he is outshone on court by Odin, and his father says he thinks of Odin as a son as well. Hugo's feelings of envy and neglect lead him to construct a plot to make Odin doubt Desi's love for him, a plot which Hugo is willing to take to its most extreme consequences.

8. Hum, The Big "O", wasn't there a movie about that?
<snip>
The Big O
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Big O (THE ビッグオー, Za Biggu Ō?) is a Japanese animated television series created by director Kazuyoshi Katayama and designer Keiichi Sato for Sunrise Studios. The writing staff was assembled by the series' head writer, Chiaki J. Konaka.

The story takes place forty years after a mysterious occurrence causes the residents of Paradigm City to lose their memories. The series follows Roger Smith, Paradigm City's top Negotiator. He provides this much needed service with the help of an android named R. Dorothy Wayneright and his butler Norman Burg. When the need arises, Roger calls upon Big O, a giant relic from the city's history that may hold the key to its future.

The television series is designed as a tribute to Japanese and Western shows from the 1960s and 1970s. The series is done in the style of film noir and combines the feel of a detective show with the mecha genre of anime. The setpieces are reminiscent of Toho monster movies and the score is an eclectic mix of styles and musical homages.

The Big O premiered 13 October 1999 on WOWOW satellite television. It finished its run on 19 January 2000. The English language version premiered on the American Cartoon Network on 2 April 2001. Originally a thirteen-episode series, positive fan response internationally resulted in a second season co-produced by Cartoon Network, Sunrise, and Bandai Visual. Season two premiered on Japan's SUN-TV on January 2003, with the American premiere taking place seven months later. <MORE>

12. I thought it would be a bio of Oscar Robertson.
from Wikipedia

Oscar Palmer Robertson (born November 24, 1938 in Charlotte, Tennessee), nicknamed "The Big O", is a former American NBA player with the Cincinnati Royals and the Milwaukee Bucks.<1> The 6-foot-5, 220-pound <2> Robertson played the shooting guard/point guard position, and was a twelve-time All-Star, eleven-time member of the All-NBA Team, and one-time winner of the MVP award in fourteen professional seasons. He is the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, and he is regarded as one of the best and most versatile NBA players of all time.<3> He was a key player on the team which brought the Bucks their only NBA championship in the 1970-71 NBA season. However, his playing career, especially during high school and college, was plagued by racism.<3>

For his outstanding achievements, Robertson was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980, and was voted one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History in 1996.<4> The United States Basketball Writers Association renamed their college Player of the Year Award the Oscar Robertson Trophy in his honor in 1998, and he was one of five people chosen to represent the inaugural National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame class in 2006.<5>

Robertson was also an integral part of the Oscar Robertson suit of 1970. The landmark NBA antitrust suit, named after the then-president of the NBA Players' Association, led to an extensive reform of the league's strict free agency and draft rules and, subsequently, to higher salaries for all players.<3>
