Help Me - Aren't Calls For Small Government Just Code For Deregulation? Hasn't McCain Just Flipped?
I know we keep on hearing McCain with his latest narrative being that Obama is for big government, and McCain is for small government. However, what does this mean? Isn't this just code for deregulation? Of course, McCain can't just say deregulation because of the whole credit crisis, but it would be nice if an interviewer asks McCain whether his advocacy of smaller government means deregulation?

4. Since when has consistency been something McCain worries about
He is attacking Obama's use of refundable tax credits to provide middle class tax relief. At the same time McCain's only provision for middle class tax relief is his refundable tax credit for health insurance.
