Louisiana ealry voting 2 to 1 Democrats.
http://www.sos.louisiana.gov/Portals/0/admin/EarlyVotingStats.pdf

They don't say how they voted, of course, only who cast votes, but it's a very good sign.

Dem votes: 127,038; Rep 64075; Oth 27930

I've been assuming that my state would go red, per the polls, but this would really be an ealry Christmas present.

BTW: one of those registered Republicans voted Obama :patriot:

1. Unfortunately that won't last.
But I did have an old buddy from elementary school call me last night to tell me he stood in line over two hours to vote in New Orleans.

So at least for the time being it's a good showing.

2. I waited for an 1hr 30 here on the Westbank..
This year the SOS is projecting 70-80% of registered voters early voting. Baton Rouge/New Orleans/Lafayette=Blue. The rest of the state=RED!!!!

I think Obama may be a lost cause but let us hope we can keep Mary Landrieu.

4. My office went to early vote last week
2 Dems, 3 Repubs. We ALL voted for Obama. We were 5 of about 15 people in the registrars office at the time. Listening to the conversation going on while standing in line to vote, we all felt that everyone else there was an Obama voter too! :bounce:

5. The problem with a state like LA is that lots of so-called reg dems vote GOP in pres elections.
