McCain: "I'd like to thank Cindy McCain... "
Does anyone else find it odd for a man to refer to his wife that way?

1. Nah, I've heard Obama do that too
I remember in June the night he clinched the nomination he said "I want to thank Michelle Obama and Malia Obama and Sasha Obama". He said something similar the night he won South Carolina.

5. There's nothing odd if the man is John S. McCain III.
I doubt the man has any affection for his wife. Cindy is many things (drug mule, thief, pill popper) but she has to know that her husband sees her only as an ATM.

I'm listening to this dolt speak and he talks about doubling tax credits for families with children and the crowd is eating it up. How are they not stopping to ask, 'Hey! We as a country are in debt! How is the Government going to be able to afford doubling that tax credit?' They want better roads and schools but don't want to pay the taxes to get these services. I'm on the verge of pulling my hair out realizing that there are ADULTS that are this senseless.

8. It could have been worse. He could have called her the cash cow . . .
or that other word.
