Obama only 19 newspaper endorsements short of Kerry's number

Obama only 19 newspaper endorsements short of Kerry's number

Currently, Obama is at 194. Kerry ended up getting 213.


McCain is at 82. Bush ended up getting 205.


Carrying out the current ratio, it looks like Obama would end up with around 294, McCain with only 124.

1. This time I think the endorsements will matter...
A lot of papers that would normally go GOP are either staying neutral or endorsing Obama...

2. In 2004 it was evenly split, in 2008 it is looking to be a BLOWOUT in endorsements

3. It already is in terms of circulation.
20,161,159 for Obama to 6,172,502 for McCain. A ratio of 3.27 or so to 1 in favor of Obama.
