Let me just say that my "it's all about meeeeee" SIL just reserved her bus seat to go see Obama

This woman, who has never ever given a crap about anything other than herself, is going to NOT drive her Caddy but get on a bus with "those people" and go see Obama....a 4 hour trip....away from her house. My god! Obama inspires self-centered, self-absorbed people to actually do something other than sit and complain all day. He's inspired my nutty SIL to leave her house. I am stunned. STUNNED! This is not the woman I have known for 30 years. What has he done? What has Obama done with my SIL?

I am so proud of her I can't stand it!

Of the lifelong Republicans close to me, one is now voting for Obama, one is going to abstain from voting for McCain and two are on the fence leaning toward Obama. I try very hard not to gloat around them, but I am LOVING every minute of it!!!

I am loving even the simple things like all the people who go out of their way to come up to me and compliment my Obama t-shirt or bumper sticker or whatever. All across the board, all ages and all races... complete strangers and we suddenly have something important and exciting to talk about. I've written down the address of the website where I got my Obama stuff and of DU on more scraps of paper in the last week... I am LOVING IT!!!

13. I was at a meeting tonight that has nothing to do with politics and

a guy I know came up to me, put his arm around my shoulders and said "hey, just wanted to tell you that Barack is gonna win." That was so cool for him to do that.
