Poll question: Long poll waiting lines disfranchise more Obama supporters or McCain supporters?
Seniors, which are more likely to support McCain in certain important battle ground states, may not be able to bear a 3 or a 4 hour long wait, on the other hand, mothers (especially single moms), a demographic leaning heavily towards Obama may be unable to take that much time away from their children.

Which presidential candidate do you think would be more affected by the long wait lines? McCain? Obama? Or is it a wash?!

2. Long lines are more likely in higher-population-density areas. Ergo, Dems lose.

4. Areas that vote Republican don't wait in lines
It's typically the poorer districts that have too few machines.

6. I don't know, logic tells me that Obama voters will do what they have to
do to get their vote in, whereas, mccain's aren't all that excited and may walk...

7. That's my sentiment too. Excitement level may help here. If not to drive people to the poll, at leas
to keep them there until they vote.

8. I think Dems will stay. Repubs know they'll likely lose and will give up more
easily. One good thing about a the youth support is that they have more staying power, lots of enthusiasm, and an iPod or phone to entertain them. :-)

9. I have a feeling that if the research is done this is mostly happeing in Democratic areas. Take FLA
for instance. Broward and Dade (Highly Democratic) have very few voting machines as compared to Republican areas. The state is controled by Republican cronies who get a say on where to put the voting machines.

For this reason, I believe, on a whole, that it is Dems who are being hurt by this.
