Just wait and see. After Obama and the congressional Dems both sweep to historic victories, the right wing nut cases in the GOP will blame their loss on their candidates' not being "conservative enough." Look for the right wing to totally take over the party at that point and to them Palin will look like a champ. They won't blame her for the loss. They will blame McCain.

And with the Dems taking most competitive seats in Congress, the only ones left will be the ones from solid right wing districts and states. That phenomenon will move the party even more to the right.

At least, that's the way I see it, but of course only time will tell.
