Like John McCain, racism is still alive.
But it is not well.

Old age is setting in. Changes are happening--more quickly than expected. Things just aren't what they used to be.

It's not the 60's anymore. It's a new time and a new dynamic and a new America.

America has changed forever. America wants Obama.

3. I think the hate itself is on the decline.
Many more people are exposed to many more things these days, and it's getting a lot harder to have an "us" and "them" attitude.

7. Yes. But they are getting smaller and weaker.
I think of America's evolution in terms of gestation and birth.

The 60's were when the water broke.

And now it's time for the delivery. America reborn--fresh and new.

4. Turning our backs on the abusers.
Without victims, they are powerless.
