Overhead some Repukes from GA having a conversation about Obama:
"If he gets elected, it will change life as we know it," was one remark woefully given.

My reaction? YOU'RE DAMNED STRAIGHT, it will change life as we know it. That's why we're going to elect him. It's about damned time that life as we know it changes. That's what his whole campaign is about.

We're going to, for the first time in a long time, see REAL justice in this country. We're not going to keep allowing the fat cats to line their pockets off the backs of the poor and middle-class. We're not going to use WAR as a "first resort" foreign policy tool. We're going to be peacemakers once again. We're going to give the government back to the people.

Life as we know it HAS to change, or we're screwed.

Morons.

1. I was in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago, in my work lounge
Overheard a couple of coworkers talking about what a worthless tool McCain is. They both agreed that in spite of that, they HAD to vote for McCain anyway.

Actual quote from that conversation:

"What choice do we have? It's McCain or the black guy."

Racism and stupidity are alive and well.

13. My friend the widow hooked up with an old flame
She said "okay, so you're not a religious nut, and you're okay with my kids. The only other thing I'm afraid to ask is....you're not a fanatical repulbican, are you?" (she assumed because he worked for a hedge fund, he was a Republican.

She said she knew it was all going to work out and they were going to get married when he said "Republican? No, I've always been a Democrat."

19. A long time friend of mine, 20+ years, has this to say on his myspace status:
I'm voting for the WHITE guy for the job.

(emphasis his)

I know he is a Republican through and through, but I did NOT know he was a racist.
I've been sick about it since I saw it last night. Going to have to remove him as
a friend and avoid him. We stopped talking for about 2 years after the 04' election,
but I'd decided friendship was more important than politics.

My bad.

24. How can someone claim their best friend is a Republican
Firstly, Republicans have only one loyalty and that is to themselves. A primary prerequisite is to be a narcissistic and greedy ass who is willing to hand over their own brother to the enemy for a reward. Back stabbing trash. McCain means "son of Cain." Very appropriate.

23. the greatest fear of these idiots is that their memetic racist plague will not be able to spread
to the next generation.

They see the World that's ruled by Old White Men waning.

Their's is the page being turned.

So long, Slavemasters, a New World is being born.

(note: I am a White male. I, who could benefit most from this broken system, reject my tainted inheritance. And this is why it will fall.)
