1. to answer your question
Are people who buy into the calling of Barack's tax plan socialist really that stupid? YES

Here is McCain, before this campaign, supporting the same tax cuts Obama is promoting.

4. Perhaps someone should point out that McCains "tax cuts"
amount to Joe the Plumber wanting his employees to pay more taxes so he can pay less and keep more for himself.

7. Excellent article! I'm gonna send it to folks in the media.
IT is such a ridiculous argument that McCain is making, that I'm trying to figure out why he is still making it.

9. Don't forget to kick it and nominate it if you like it
I thought it gave excellent ammo to fight revisionist historians.

8. The funny thing is that they're arguing over a 5% difference in the top tax rate
And maybe a 10% difference in capital gains taxes. Both of which are for the wealthiest Americans. In other words, Obama is going to increase the top income tax rate from 35-40% (which you only have to pay on income over 250,000 and you actually get a tax cut on your income below 250,000).

I really wish a reporter would ask McCain why it is socialism when the rich pay 40% but isn't socialism when the rich pay 35%. Where exactly is that "red line" (pun intended) that makes it socialism?

10. That's the problem with these reporters, isn't it.....
they don't seem to have a clue as to what questions to ask.
After 8 years of stupidity, it will take a while,
before they understand what their job is again.
