Obama: if we can spend $10 billion a month in Iraq, we can spend some money to rebuild America.

"I realize you’re cynical and fed up with politics. I understand
that you’re disappointed and even angry with your leaders.
You have every right to be. But despite all of this, I ask of you
what’s been asked of the American people in times of trial and
turmoil throughout our history. I ask you to believe – to believe
in yourselves, in each other, and in the future we can build together."

1. Are they saying that this was his biggest rally? Because MO also was attended
by 100,000.

Oh, BTW, beautiful words coming from a real leader!

3. My guess, St. Louis was 100,000, Denver was over 100,000.
What's a few thousand?

"Denver police chief Gerry Whitman estimated the crowd at more than 100,000, which campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said was Obama's largest U.S. turnout."

2. I wish every politician would STOP talking about spending the $$ we spend in
Iraq on something here in America! Don't these people KNOW we don't HAVE the money to spend in Iraq, so when we get out of there, there IS NO MONEY to spend HERE! It's ALL BORROWED people!!!!! Obama says it, Biden says it, and who knows how many other politicians say it? THERE IS NO MONEY!!!!

Cut the defense budget...fine...THAT will save money. Tell congress that each member has to reduce their staff by 20%...fine...THAT will save money. But getting out of Iraq just reduces BORROWING!

4. The point is that money IS being spent in Iraq......whether it is borrowed.....
Money, even borrowed, if is to be utilized to rebuilt our infrastructure and to generate jobs, becomes an investment with returning dividends.....so whether we would continue to borrow for that doesn't matter as much as the entire concept is a different one than burning money in Iraq.

So when it comes to helping our own country, those who suggest that there isn't any money should STFU.

7. Begged, taxed, borrowed, earned, or stolen
if we don't take some real steps toward clean and renewable fuel then nothing else matters.

Yeah, we MUST spend some of that money we're pissing away into the sand on ourselves. We also have to do some serious investment in infrastructure. We can't afford not to deal with these things.

The only real reason to keep this bogus economy from crashing is to borrow time to work on energy. We cannot go on as we have.
