MEME MEMO: Bush* is terrified to talk about his record.
That's why he has to bring up Kerry's Vietnam record. That's why he has to exploit 9/11. That's why his convention speech was littered with promises of things he'll DO - not boasts of things he has DONE.

Bush* is PETRIFIED to talk about his record. Spread it far and wide.

And please help keep this kicked.

Thanks for this MEME MEMO to the Daily Kos and HootieMcBoob's thread here:

3. He's scared of EVERYTHING
Scared to have protestors at his rallies (which Kerry should bring up the every time he's heckled).

Scared to admit he sent an undermanned, underequipped military to Iraq.

Scared of mention the draft before the elections.

Scared of going to Viet Nam.

Scared of agreeing to the upcoming debates.

Scared to admit he ignores advice which doesn't suit the PNAC's purposes...

22. Kerry should mention this every time he's heckled
"Scared to have protesters at his rallies (which Kerry should bring up the every time he's heckled)."

Kerry has to put up with protesters (who look like a prime age to be in Iraq) but bush appears in a bubble of false unity, having had protest banned for "security."

24. I understand he did just that today.
He brought up the fact that people need to sign away their firstborn to attend a * rally.

4. Look backward
and see if you can find Dubya's 'glory days.'

Find a time when he was not either
Wiped on booze and drugs OR
Ripping off investors OR
Condemning property for his ballpark OR
Skipping out on AL Air Ntl Gd.

What part of his record can he run on.
Not his forthright courage on 911, when he freaked and ran.
Not his record on the economy, that creature of smoke and mirrors.
Not his defense of America's freedom (which is what many other nations so rightly envied).

On what can he run, except his smear machine?

26. I noticed that lots of people think it was only 7 minutes
I thought it was more like 20 with the 7 minutes becoming accepted just because that's how long F911 covered. Do you know if the 20 minutes is documented? I mean, it's a small thing. But as I go to hell in a hand basket, I want my i's dotted, t's crossed.

9. KICK!
I saw this in MSNBC, that seems to back that up:

"And the President has to explain why so many of the promises of domestic repair he made in his acceptance speech tonight were about things that just happened to have eroded during his time in Washington.
I’ve slapped Chris Matthews on the back a couple of times in this cyberspace and now’s the time to do the same for Joe Scarborough. He made the point Wednesday night— and unfortunately just at that moment, the panel conversation got truncated because there was a live interview to go to— that he could never recall an incumbent president and his spokesmen spending so much of their public time attacking their challenger, rather than proclaiming their own triumphs and plans. Are the Republicans, Joe asked, worried about whether or not George Bush’s record can speak for itself? Cogent analysis, and just as applicable, with the appropriate contextual changes, to the Democratic campaign." - Keith Olbermann

25. His record for his entire LIFE is bad-Bush refuses to come clean
We are not just talking about his record as Prez, but as Gov., a "business man", an aging drug abuser and his sorry-ass "combat" record.

He is terrified to come clean for ANYTHING about his past- recent or otherwise.

When Bush can come clean about his record, then perhaps he can gain some trust...
