My son takes on my Repuke neighbor
In our neighborhood, we are having a "yard sign war". I put up a sign for Donnelly for Congress, the next day my neighbor put up one for the Repuke incumbent. Then, I bought a GREAT yeard sign on Ebay that says "Vote the Son-of-a-Bush OUT!). The next day, my neighbor put up a Bush/Cheney sign.

Keep in mind, we are out in the country with only five houses on the entire road. I live in the house that my grandparents built, he lives in his parents old house. I've known this guy all my life and he's a total idiot. (He once tried to remove a wasp's nest from his house foundation with a blow torch. Yep, took the fire department to put it out.)

Well, Saturday my 16yo son came in from getting the mail (our boxes are out at the road) and told me "Mark said your sign is really rude and disrespectful. He said we should take it down." I answered "Oh, really?" Then my son said "Yeah, so I told him I wanted you to put up a bigger one that says "Bush Lied and Soldiers Died". Apparently, my neighbor just turned and walked away.

Score one for the kid!!!!!!!!

1. Your neighbor picks on your kid?
He doesn't even have the spine to talk to you directly? What kind of a bully is he? Oh wait, you said he was a Republican. 'Nuff said.

4. I hope you have some big dogs and
a warning/alarm system of some kind.

This neighbor might step up the fight to keying
cars and that kind of crap. They do that kind of
shit.

8. Here's a nifty little trick
take some lawn fertilizer and, when you know the neighbor is out of town,

write "I hate America" on his lawn with the fertilizer.

It won't show up until next spring, but, wow, that would piss off a lot of people!

9. maybe not.
We have a Republican guy here, and he will pop off with stupid stuff sometimes. Sometimes we say something, but a lot of times we just ignore him.

Your neighbor may just be ignoring you, not agreeing with you.

Be sure he is aware of how Kerry policies might affect his job, and how Bush's might cost his. Since you seem to live in a rural area, you might to talk about Bush's environmental record.

And you probably don't want to go into the VietNam thing, but if you do, bottom line, Kerry was there and Bush was drinking with his National Guard buddies.

10. My neighbor is just a garden-variety moron
I don't even talk to him unless I have to. This guy works in a factory, makes about half what I do, has no health insurance, and still votes Republican.

In other words, he's just a dumbass.
