They're All Bastards
Here is a strange and sad truth; the Republicans don't really want people voting. The more people in an area that vote, the more likely an area is to go Democratic. So one Republican strategy has been to limit the number of people voting.

Sometimes they use overt tactics such as in Florida. But another fun tactic is fostering the attitude that the people in Washington are all bastards. If a voter thinks that both President Bush and Senator Kerry are bastards and neither one are worth voting for, than that's a net win for the Republicans.

Anyway something to consider for those who think we should be as dirty as the Republicans in our campaigning. I personally think we need to create an alternative, and I think that Senators Kerry and Edwards have been trying to do that.
