Study: Oregonians struggle despite economic recovery

SILVERTON, ORE. - A new study by the Oregon Center of Public Policy says many Oregonians will struggle to make ends meet for years to come.
It says households in Oregon are being hurt by a combination of lowered incomes caused by the recession and sharp increases in living costs.

The report noted that from 1999 to 2003, the median household income of Oregonians fell by nearly three-thousand dollars to 42-thousand-200 dollars.
