Kitty Kelly's book is a good thing, and here's why.....
Because the Democratic party and it's operatives had nothing to do with it. This book will cause a big stir and it will be Dubya's Swift Boat and will put a hurting on him. Guys...don't be afraid of this book and don't be afraid that it will successfully be linked to the Dems... Rove is good but he's not that good. This is a perfect smear of the Boy idiot and we have no finger prints on it at all. It's fucking perfect.

3. I'm Not afraid of it and am looking forward to reading
some of the things that the bushies do when they think no one is looking. I thought Sharon bush was going to keep quiet as part of her divorce settlement and am glad to see I was Wrong.

6. Bombard the media

The trick to coverage is to bombard the media with email.

It is the ONLY way to get them interested.

11. Random House is part of "the media"
and Kelley is an established media darling who has had a string of hits.

I'd normally be skeptical, but this will be all over TV and print media and dominate the second half of September. Good backdrop for the debates.

5. Hopefully what it will do is
plant doubt that will make the more important things like Bob Grahams book get listened to. Right now * has this aura of character for some reason and this can start cracking it and let the truth be seen. Kerry doesn't have to say a word.

7. Kelley will break through media filters
with tales that if brought up by Kerry or associates would either be ignored or turned against the Democrats. This will be the most significant political book in decades in terms of the damage it does to a sitting president.

Just over a week to go!

12. Do you actually think that Rove and Co didn't know this was coming out?
Something about this book doesn't sit right. It's too perfect. Honestly, I think the media will spin this book to make the Dems and Kerry look bad.
That's my two cents, anyway.

22. DEMS need to say: "These allegations are like the Swift-boat smears..."
Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 07:28 PM by Dr Fate
"...they are probably not true, but we need the media to spend a week or so investigating them so we know for sure. It worked for the SBV charges-our good media cleared Kerry's name- so it's only fair to Bush that the media gets tot the bottom of this accusation as well."

23. Excellent.....but lets hope Kelly isnt contributing to the Dems.....
That would not be good news.

You know the dirt diggers are hard work as we type!

Another angle would be to have no comment, and tell the media that since the book is about Bush take it up with him....
