2. I'm so sorry. you must be heartsick. Her predictions that Obama will be

killed is especially disturbing, because palin has got people fired up to the point that they cannot accept Obama as president, just as your sd feels. I'm really afraid that the repugs have actually led us to the final point: where there will be no way for the country to heal.Obama may be killed, or the rw might even take arms in an insurrection. either path seems all too possible.

and YES...I AM heartsick!!! Heartsick that I had to explain to MY 8 y/o when the news came on and she heard the hateful yells of "kill him"!!!

I must be so friggin naive to have thought that society was above this...

I read a letter to the editor of our paper... "Silence in the face of hatred is NOT fit to lead!!!" M/P waited THREE days until he FINALLY said something to those hate mongers in their crowds...

11. That is terribly sad...

I feel the same way about my nieces. It's so discouraging when there's nothing you can really do.

Still, I think there are a lot of kids who are raised with intolerance who eventually see the light. It could be that once she's an adult, she'll be more receptive to your ideas.
