I don't want to sound uncaring, for if this really happened - she didn't deserve it, despite her support for someone incapable of doing this country justice. But, goodness - this reeks of a lonely homely girl looking for attention and thinking she might help win the election for McCain. For crying out loud, are we SURE the B is backwards, or is the image flipped? Regardless, it all smacks of odd setup, because what kind of mugger would waste time doing that? You stole money by assault, you're going to come back and calmly carve a B in someone's cheek???

Not only are the curves nice and smooth, and the line is perfectly straight, but the letter itself is very symmetrical. And of course, it's a mirror image of a "B"; it's conceivable that the mugger was leaning over her from the top of her head, but in that case, how did he maintain control over the rest of her body?

I'm not saying I DISbelieve her, because surely nobody would make up a story like this out of nowhere--I'm just saying I am suspicious.
