A party that runs on labels by giving themselves names like Maverick, Hockey Mom, and Reformers, without really representing what those labels stand for.
A party that runs on Flagpins, and calls their opponents names like terrorist, socialist, and elitist.
The party that defines an elitist as someone who believes themselves to be "better" than others, and then turns around and states that only certain parts of America are "really" American; i.e., are "better" than other parts of America.

A party that uses fear, lies and smears as policies.
they don't want to talk about Palin's $150,000 wardrobe, because the understand that when a party is devoid of any new ideas, then the superficial is all that they have; and that is exactly what clothing represents; a type of symbolistic superficiality at its core.
Like Barack Obama stated so eloquently in his Convention Speech, "they will run on making a big election about small things".
And yet, when the small things come to bite them in the ass, they don't want to talk about them either.
