so called 11 point bounce. Why can't he talk about the other polls out tonight. He can say whatever he wants behind the scenes but he doesn't need to talk like that on CNN.
If he's buying into it it's because he's knows it's garbage and wants to make it appear Bush blew an 11-point lead when the polls are even or worse for Bush. He's no dummy.
but that is not the impression he is giving. He is saying that Kerry hasn't been doing a good job in Aug and that Clinton talked to him last night and told him he needs to change the things he has been talking about. He said he is going to have a much better September. He is really feeding into bowtie boy's smugness.
9. We've all known for many months we would have to "survive"
August due to the skewed Convention timing creating a Bush free-fire zone against Kerry. Now we have survived and are back on even footing with both campaigns required to operate under the $75 million cap from now until Nov 2. All I have ever asked for is a level playing field. Now we have it. The X factor will be "whither the media". Whoring for Bush and the status quo or whoring for change? Change is catnip to most newsies. Gore may have suffered a bit from that in 2000. Maybe Kerry can now benefit. We shall see. Still waiting for some indication that a reasonably sized segment of the media has started to turn against the Admin.
