Chuck Todd asked pollster Neil Newhouse what is up with that poll (which had Obama with only a 1 point lead and has been discredited) because there's "a lot of buzz about it) and he claimed not to know, saying he didn't know the internals of it, so his rule is to "throw out the lowest and highest polls" as outliers. How could WE know the internals but he didn't? :eyes:

ETA: I just found this out: "POS is a major GOP polling firm, founded by respected veteran pollsters Bill McInturff, Glen Bolger, and Neil Newhouse."

"POS" officially stands for "Public Opinion Strategies" but I can think of a more FITTING title). :D

2. I just googled "Neil Newhouse" and discovered he's a REPUB. pollster...
no WONDER he "didn't know" why the AP poll had such a close race. :eyes:

7. I'd call it quite CONVENIENT. They posted the AP poll all this morning in their various polls.
Of course most of the others had Obama in double digits so they had to add this one in to "make it interesting."

4. Does he have his own show now? I see him
hosting something on MSNBC. I hope he's just a one time substitute or something.

6. Chuck Todd? He's hosting for the hour today. I think they rotate...
his MAIN job seems to be the "numbers guy" for the electoral map.

5. Chuck Todd also said
that all of the battleground polls released today have a huge Dem id, so you can't trust them. And then he discussed with one of the pollsters which one of the polls you could trust, and said the networks polls could be trusted, and since they don't do state polls anymore, you have to be wary about state polls. WTF?
