6. from the poll
These results are based on Oct. 20-22 polling and suggest preferences may be stabilizing for the moment, as the data for individual nights in the three-day rolling average for both likely voter models were quite similar. Obama's current advantage in both models is slightly smaller than what Gallup reported Tuesday.

The stability is also evident in registered voters' preferences, with Obama's lead among this group now 50% to 43%, with each individual night in the Oct. 20-22 average showing similar figures.

---------------

so it started before the news picked up the comments from Joe

9. Oh ok-that's good
So we're probably more likely than not in a stable race right now. Obama's primetime appearance on Wednesday should send him back to his highs hopefully.

Edited on Thu Oct-23-08 12:20 PM by Jennicut
Over reacting to little things here in there is kind of ridiculous. Obama has had a solid consistent lead for a long long time. Look at the battleground polls as well...he is doing quite well.

22. You are pulling that out of your butt
Obama's range this month: 49%-52%

McCain's range this month: 41%-43%

The Gallyp poll have been fluctuating (very little) in these ranges for the entire month and you come to the conclusion that this poll today is thanks to Biden?

7. Was the MSM covering Macy's-gate??? I think that is a really toxic situation
Edited on Thu Oct-23-08 12:13 PM by TheDonkey
I don't watch the news outside of KO and RM.Hope it got some traction. Unfortunately the MSM did not cover the economy which is still in shambles. Sad that the DOW collapsing 500 points is "just another day" in Shrub's final days.

2 to 4 to 10 to 6. I think it stays steady at 4 to 6.

19. These daily polls are enough to drive one mad!
I'm glad we'll be done with them in two weeks and we'll finally have Obama in office by an incredible margin. Until then, these daily polls are maddening! Rasmussen today has Obama back at his 52% high. Zogby has him pulling away HUGE! And Gallup (of course) has it tightening just a tiny bit

20. In other words, nothing changed
Obama has been riding the 49%-52% range for the past month. And McCain has been in his usual 41%-43% range.
