Anyone here remember the "Rockefeller Effect"?
when I was a student in upstate NY, Rocky was the guv, won by huge margins everytime: BUT IF YOU ASKED 200 PEOPLE ON THE STREET, MAYBE 5 WOULD ADMIT TO VOTING FOR HIM.

I'm not kidding: almost no one ever stated that they voted for Rockefeller but I dare anyone to find a more popular NY politician.

Obama may have the same "problem"...this could be a rout of historic proporions - but don't tell anyone.
