Morning Schmoe in full Palin 2012 blitzkrieg
The only thing missing is Pat Fuchanan's diatribe...they don't need him.

It's a nauseating display...Schmoe is likening her talents to Reagan who was the greatest man who ever lived. A pox on all of them, particularly Mika Mouse who is just insufferable.

15. it was funny yesterday....
I caught a snippet of the Ron Reagan show while in the car...
and a conservative called in trying to praise Reagan for the good he'd done for the country...
and Ron wasn't buying it.....left the caller sputtering a bit.

4. The idiots thinking this idiot will
be viable in four years are just too funny for words. If McCain had gone "eeeny, meeny, miny, moe" and picked someone out of the crowd at one of his rallies, they'd be salivating over that warm body.

Come on, face it, schmucks. She is a freaking joke!

6. It's a regular pity-party over there for POOR Sarah...
Gosh, golly gee... do any of them remember all the venom she's spewed since her selection, and how absolutely frickin' clueless she has shown herself to be? Should she be held to a different standard because she's a SHE?

Boo- frickin'-hoo.

9. Palin is a "redneck woman"? HAHAHA.
Edited on Thu Oct-23-08 06:14 AM by DangerousRhythm
Gretchen Wilson's lyrics...

Well, I ain't never been the Barbie doll type
No, I can't swig that sweet Champagne, I'd rather drink beer all night
In a tavern or in a honky tonk or on a four-wheel drive tailgate
I've got posters on my wall of Skynyrd, Kid and Strait

Some people look down on me, but I don't give a rip
I'll stand barefooted in my own front yard with a baby on my hip
'Cause I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey ya'll' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Charlie Daniels song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah

Victoria's Secret, well their stuff's real nice
Oh, But I can buy the same damn thing on a Wal-Mart shelf half price
And still look sexy, just as sexy as those models on TV
No I don't need no designer tag to make my man want me

you might think I'm trashy, a little too hardcore
But in my neck of the woods I'm just the girl next door

Hey I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey y'all' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every Tanya Tucker song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me, hell yeah

I'm a redneck woman
I ain't no high class broad
I'm just a product of my raising
I say, 'hey y'all' and 'yee-haw'
And I keep my Christmas lights on
On my front porch all year long
And I know all the words to every ol' Bocephus song
So here's to all my sisters out there keeping it country
Let me get a big 'hell yeah' from the redneck girls like me,
Hell yeah,

Hell yeah,

I said hell yeah!

Um, so... Walmart? Ain't never been the Barbie doll type? Wow. I will agree with some of this, especially her not being a high class broad, but uh... sorry, if you have $150,000 worth of designer clothes, you're really killing the whole point of this song aren't you?

Man, I always hated this song. In fact, I retitled it "The Pandering Song" because that's what it is... one giant pander. :puke:

28. Good point! I almost puked during that moment on the show.
And, as a southwestern Ohioan who is well-familiar with rednecks, I have this to add:

REDNECKS DON'T LIKE PEOPLE OF COLOR. And that is nothing to be fucking proud of.

14. Reagan had Alzheimer's. What's Palin's excuse? She's been trying for years to evoke Reagan. So
have most Republicans. I am surprised they admitted he died. I was waiting for a Disney World version, like Disney's Lincoln.

16. I have Good Morning Dead Intern Joe on the tube this AM, too.
On the West Coast all the other cable stations have info-mercials on. I am sick of hearing about the $300 house, skin care, and weight loss. So, that is the ONLY reason Joe is on today...and CSpan had a McAsshole rally on...ugh! I could not even go there for a rational thought!

IMO, I have NEVER seen this much group denial before...ever! :hi:

18. Joe's nuts if he thinks that mainstream Republicans don't
let Palin get carved into little pieces by one scandal and abuse over the next few years. They see the fanatic god-botherers have just about destroyed the party, and will blame her for it, not McCain.

There is a schism coming to the party if they let the snake-handlers take control as moderates will move to the center and we will be there to take those votes.

It's happening already.

27. Finally watched it on Tivo... it was the "Fluffin' Sarah Show!" this morning
It was just horrible.

Joe: "I LOVE HER!!!"
Mika: "HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE HER!!!!!"
Willie: "She is pretty awesome."
Peggy Noonan: "She reminds me of Ronald Reagan."
Mike Barnicle: "LOVE HER LOVE HER LOVE HER!!!!!"

Rinse, lather, repeat.

29. Palin became a political has-been...
Palin became a political has-been a week and half after the GOP convention. She finished on the national stage-- regardless of whether she decides to go quietly into that good night or not. The talking heads know this and it's easy to see their own discomfort as they contort, wiggle and dance around logic in a half-hearted attempt to defend her positions.

If she's lucky, lives right, prays every night, hugs puppies, and changes her voice, she might (MIGHT!) win her gubernatorial re-election, but even that is now a stretch of the imagination.

The beltway Republicans know this, and will treat her as a piece of Georgetown cocktail party arm-candy at best, but the most likely scenario is that she becomes a political pariah to the Washington circuit as has *Bush-- her endorsement will be a kiss of death.

I want her and Romney to slug it out for the GOP nomination for as long as possible while President Obama builds up a warchest for reelection.
