Add three more early votes for Obama in Ohio!!!

My husband and I took our roommate down to Veteran's Memorial to cast our votes for Barack Obama and Joe Biden. I've never been so proud of my vote in my entire life. I cried as I walked away from the ballot box knowing that I had just been a part of history. It feels soooo good.

... well someone needs to hand count all these Obama votes.

I drove by Vet's on my lunch hour today, and was surprised to see ALL OF THOSE CARS in the parking lot! Were all of those cars people voting, or was something else going on as well?

6. There were still tons of cars when we went at 6.

The only things going on was early voting. Some of those cars belong to people out there handing out Democratic Sample ballots, literature, and talking about specific issues.

I would say there was about 50 people.

4. In my county about 1/3 of the registered voters have voted

already.

8. Our BOE encouraged people to vote absentee this

year because last year they closed some of our polling places and they anticipate a very large turnout. Contrary to popular belief the counties in the east bordering the Ohio river are 2-1 Democrat and are not as racist as you may think, this is Union country.

on edit: As of Monday the BOE said they had about 14000 early and absentee ballots out of 43000 registered voters so far.
