I got a package of Obama goodies I did not order. What's up with that?

I'm pretty close to a maximum donor dollar wise (might be over, I've lost track since Palin was nominated) and I've been paying my own way to Colorado with a car full of people to canvass for Obama (and I paid for the hotel room) so I think I DESERVE a gold star and I did give away 3 Obama buttons I bought last weekend in Grand Junction so I could use some more but I bought a lawn sign (twice) and t-shirt and coffee cups and pajamas and poster... pretty near everything.

Anyone know why the campaign might have sent me these goodies I didn't order?

3. When you gave a certain amount, you got that. I gave $50 and I automatically

got that sent to me (I had it sent to my Mom) - but it was at least a month ago and was delayed. It was for donating a certain amount before a deadline. I think it was in September, unless it was for giving on the last day or so of August.

To be fair, I'm supposed to get a "limited edition" (how limited? a million of 'em?) t-shirt, but it just hasn't arrived yet. How long did your stuff take?

11. I gave $50 and was supposed to get the starter type kit the OP mentions. My Mom hasn't received it

yet. I did get an e-mail saying they were overwhelmed and running behind so there was a delay. I actually would have opted out of getting all the stuff but I just donated (not intending to get anything in return) and it went to a screen asking me where all the stuff should be sent - my house or somewhere else.

I have given many, many (sshhhh - don't tell the hubby - he has looked on Fundrace a couple of times and it hasn't been pretty) times but this was the only time I was supposed to get anything in return (even though it was accidental).

It is for contributing during a specific time - long time ago, I've forgotten when now. So, some had been asking when they would get their "package". I guess they are finally getting around to sending them out!

12. ah, okay. I didn't know I was donating for "something"

I remember donating once for the cup, and once for the poster, and once for a t-shirt and god knows, I've fallen for the "donate before midnight tonight" way too many times (and happy I can do it) so I probably just didn't know I was getting something for it.

Dang. I thought it was a gold star.
