...Yes he IS and good for him.
He's buying the election just like the last 28 years of winning candidates "bought" their elections. They took the tons of money needed for the win from their backers and spent it with EVERY intention of returning the favor by backing legislation to help out their backers, and Obama has promised the same.
There are of course two obvious differences-for the last 7 elections the backers were mainly special interest PACs and industry groups dropping megabuck donations to defeat any attempts to rein in the rape of America's middle class, while Obama's average donation is below $100...That's right-the "special interest groups" that are expecting payback are you and I-in other words actual citizens-not econopath corporations given "Corporate Personhood".
The second difference is undoubtably the more important-that unlike the winners of the last seven campaigns Mr. Obama is neither dissembling nor conflicted. For the first time in three decades a candidate supports the citizens of the country with NO reservations or debts to pay to those who have gamed an advantage for over a century. Barrack Obama is bought and paid for by EXACTLY the people he wanted to represent and EXACTLY the ideals he has spent a lifetime wishing to protect.
We bought him and paid for him, just like GE and Raythion, and AIG and Morgan Stanley, Exxon Mobil and BP paid for John McCain. And now we fully expect him to reward us by pushing our interests over those of the losing corporate interests.
The difference is that he invited us to do so-he showed us that "Hope you can Believe In" is also "Hope that the Masses can Fund" so that "folks" can get a better deal "Financial Entities".
Al Gore, did indeed, help "invent the "internets", and that bastard may bring the econopaths down.....(the "internets"-not my pal, Al....)
Eat Shit, Corporations!
