1. She looks like a hockey mom to me (with the exception of the up-doo)
And if that is what she is going to sell herself as, that is what she needs to look like.

4. That top looks like it was meant to hide the extra baby weight.
It looks like a pajama top.

6. Actually, what she's wearing is a traditional Inupiat dress. Which is rather interesting...

When I lived in Alaska, I don't recall very many white women wearing this style. But maybe it's because Todd Palin is part Alaska Native (I don't know whether he's of Inupiat or Yupik heritage -- the two main groups of Alaskan so-called "eskimos").

12. I have no idea. I haven't really paid much attention to Todd Palin's bloodline.
My only point was, what Sarah is wearing is actually a very common Alaskan garment among certain segments of the Native population. I wish I could remember what it's called -- it has a particular name -- but I left Alaska in 1995, and I'm getting old, so the name just isn't coming to me... :P

14. Here's a link to a photo of some Inupiat youngsters showing some of the girls in that kind of dress:

(I've been madly searching for a site that would mention the name of that garment -- I used to know it, dammit!)
