What the hell has gotten into Tweety?
Did the R's stop sending the monthly checks? Did Cheney shoot his dog?

I remember when Tweety used to fawn over Bush like a love-sick puppy and was one of the propaganda catapulters. What the hell has gotten into him? He seems DISGUSTED with Republicans lately, and the puppy love has been transferred to Obama. He schooled Bachman last week, and today he took Nancy Puffinwhatsherfuckinname to the woodshed.

As the icing on the cake, he had one of my heroes, Bill Maher, on this week. Even 2 years ago, conservatives would have gone crying to their mommies about such a person being on his program.

Maybe she said to cut the crap because her whole future on this planet depends on this election.

4. The popular answer is that
he's angling to run for the Senate in PA in '10 and he needs to polish his Dem credentials, but I don't believe he's announced yet.

I also think he's patriotic and is horrified by the Palin VP pick.

what a farce Sarah Palin is and I think he is truly insulted that she is given the opportunity to run as a V.P. candidate.

10. That's the direction I was leaning
I just can't stomach the thought of her steering the USS America as President. It scares the shit out of me, and hopefully people like Chris Matthews are scared too.

keen intellect and she has nada. No basic understanding of anything of world or domestic affairs. She's a shell.

14. That's a scary thought
Why should someone working in the news media be worried about what a political party thinks of their reporting? It truly is scary that the media can't be independent.

I love him! He's transformed from someone I could not abide, to someone who's style I relish. He just brought up the B. Goldwater letter to Johnson and said, 'Socialism is not a new word.' Dammit, I love him.

24. I don't think so
Even when McCrapInHisPants was closing the gap (and even pulling ahead at one point) back in August, Tweety didn't change. His program has been steadily getting better since the beginning of the year.

And he knows who's to blame. Never mess with a rich man's money. OR those KO/RM ratings are making lefties pretty cool right now.

28. No matter what we think of him, Chris does seem to have a noble view of politics
and appreciates and admires the notion of "the best and the brightest" serving in government. I believe he truly resents the likes of Sarah Palin who slip in and think they deserve seats in the highest echelons of government with no experience, no hard work, no dues paying but just a wink, a wiggle and a "you betcha."

That's what I think has gotten into him.

35. Same here. He could be annoying, but he picked on both sides
Probably the most annoying thing about him is how he always interrupts his guests.

Tweety is living proof that even some Republicans know when enough is enough

36. I know. I've been so alienated by his years of pumping up the Bush admin
and McPowPow that these last few months have been disorienting. When he has actually been complimentary toward Obama sometimes it has been unnerving. I've done double-takes for sure.

They say he's planning to run for Democratic office in Pennsylvania. That may be why he's drifting toward the majority opinion which is quite Democratic (big and small D).

But then sometimes it seems like he gets a call from the top brass who ask him to scale back the Democratic stuff and he grabs those RNC talking points and trumpets them for a few hours.
