ONE VISIT! Ok, what did they tell her?

"Governor Palin, here is the American Express Card."

"How much can I spend?"

"As much as you'd like, make it sexy, get your daughter some great maternity outfits too."

"YOU BETCHA!"

Lipstick on a hypocritical, lying, manipulative asshole.

She makes me sick.

4. Well,
that's a few Valentino suits and maybe some shoes and a bag or two. Me? I would have gone for the Christian Lacroix.

7. Tina Fey should reenact the shopping scene from Pretty Woman as Palin...

I'd really enjoy the scene where she says, "They were mean to me" and McCain whips out his credit card.

"WHO ordered the moose-topping pizza?!"

Oh, and someone should do Bill O'Reilly as the hotel manager who stares at her butt as she returns from the spree.

10. That sounds like a real scam if I ever heard of one.
I have no doubt whatsoever that the idea of giving all the stuff she bought to charity did not come up until AFTER the news broke about this shopping spree!!

11. Neiman Marcus is the most overpriced store I've ever been in
in my life. I work a couple of blocks from this store and use to walk through it during my lunch breaks. It's like $60 for a tank top that you could get from Target for $6. Most of their stuff is junk. Periodically they have some unique blouse that I do actually like. But the price is usually up in the $400-$700 range. Not close to being worth it.

It's not hard to understand how she could spend that much money. What isn't hard to understand is how she could find $70,000 worth of stuff that's wearable. She could have gone downstairs and found several shops that have a heck of a lot better and more age appropriate clothes for a quarter of the price. She also could have gone down the block to Macy's.

For all of the money she spent, she still looks like crap. Her clothes are far too juvenile for her age in many cases but exactly what I would expect from Neiman Marcus.

12. Don't they have a sales rack?
I mean seriously? I mean, I'd find ways to at least try to make it a bargain in my mind. Negotiate with the sales people. Grab some sales, etc.
