I have come to believe that Barack Obama is an absolute genius.
He and his staff are running the best, most efficient campaign I have ever witnessed. Although I did not originally support him, he now has my complete confidence that he is the only one who can lead this beloved country out of the Bush mess.

4. Agreed that, although not totally mistake free, if he runs the government
the way he has ran his campaign for the last 21 months, we will be able to sleep at night.

What I like best is the lack of drama spilling out of the campaign; absolutely none.

7. Gives me hope
I know! The fact that they seem to know exactly what they are doing makes me feel confident that he is absolutely the right man to get the country back on track... also I feel a little less nervous about the election being stolen because Barak is no fool, he knows that the Republicans are capable of and I feel like he's on it.
BTW: I also started out backing Hilary but even then i felt that Barak was special. now I know how special he is. I am so inspired by him

I wish I had gone with Obama from the beginning. I regret that. But now he has my wholehearted support and I talk him up wherever I go.

24. Don't regret not supporting him initially. I voted for Hillary also in the
primary, but it was easy to switch my allegiance. They're both exceptional candidates, although I do think there is something very special about Obama.

29. No regrets - OK?
We fielded a great slate of candidates in the primaries. The strong competition we provided helped make Obama the masterful candidate he is today. He would not be able to handle McCain nearly as effectively if he had not been thoroughly tested and strained by the rest of us.

but they lack his caring and his passion for life.

He is simply amazing to watch and respond to in such a magical way.

18. I think you are talking about compassion for all Americans.
That is exactly what this country needs. The fact that he senses that and wants to do something about it is even more a tribute to his genius.

12. Yup, I've expressed the same sentiments over and over
He has got to be brilliant because nobody can have their act together as well as he does without being incredibly smart. He has run a near flawless campaign, and all it does is invoke more and more confidence in him.

A thing of beauty.

McCain has walked into every, single trap Obama has set for him. It's like watching a master at chess.

25. Well, he's had a few fumbles...
Saddleback and that bitter crap the repukes overreacted about are the ones which come to mind.

Every campaign fumbles at least a few times.

Compared to everyone else, Obama has ran a far superior campaign.

38. Yeah, they were small stumbles.
The actual shape and force of the campaign, and the decisions he's made, have been peerless.

I'm really astounded. I knew he was a good guy, and a smart, decent person, but I'm truly shocked at what a powerhouse he's turned out to be.

27. He's playing with chess pieces vs McCain's checkers.
He's playing on all the squares, not just half of them. His organization is more numerous, more powerful, more diverse, and more versatile. He's employing far deeper strategies than his opponent, and has the infrastructure set up to implement them.

Obama: ‘If They Bring a Knife to the Fight, We Bring a Gun’

Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?
Sen. Barack Obama talks at a town hall meeting at Radnor Middle School in Wayne, Pa., Saturday, June 14. (AP)

That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

28. And I think his ability and background in community organizing
has almost been UNDER played, when you look at how he's applied it. They've developed one of the most organized, full sweeping ground operations I've ever SEEN, and Obama has people ENTHUSIASTICALLY coming together toward a common cause. It's been amazing to watch. Pretty funny in retrospect seeing Palin and the GOP/RNC crowd mocking community organizers. :)

39. I wouldn't go absolute, but I'd give him genius status. he has
had some incredible luck. like hillary letting her staff get lazy, she should have crushed obama from the get go. then mccain comes along and gave the gift that keeps on giving, "sarah palin".
