McCain has lost all ability to have any impact on the news cycle, McCain agrees to go on MTP
Friday - What Does the McCain campaign mean about "real" America?

Saturday - Powell is going to do something - Palin is on SNL - Obama has a huge rally

Sunday - Powell endorses Obama

Monday - Powell endorses Obama - Obama thanks Powell

Tuesday - Palin gets $ 150,000 makeover - Obama addresses economic situation.

Five days of no news coverage so McCain has no alternative but to go on Meet the Press

3. "Tell us about the war, grandpa"
I'm expecting about that level of "aggressiveness."

5. It is really curious
how Senator McCain has all but disappeared from the campaign in the past five days. I've seen a few clips of him chattering away, but it is the same tired speech that he's been giving for weeks.

After their humiliating defeat, there will be a further fracturing of the republican party. McCain is no longer going to be popular in their party. But Palin can exploit that to her advantage, by politely blaming McCain for their loss. And it seems the corporate media will afford her far more coverage than they will McCain. I'll bet Fox News buys her a few new outfits.

7. Fox is getting fun to watch - they admit he can't win but argue over the reason

The funniest line - "its the media"

conveniently overlooking the fact that McCain hasn't had a real press conference in months lol.

9. Someone on DU
predicted Palin would end up with a show on Fox. I remember laughing at the time. Now, I think they may be right.

8. another problem is when they do get attention it's all attacks on Obama
they accuse him of being sexist soon after palin was picked. it was a strategy on their part to try to win women voters, especially the hillary supporters. but it didn't work.

then they bring up the whole Obama Muslim thing, OBama hates white people, Obama and terrorist connections.

right now their whole thing is about how Obama is a socialist/communist. and they were talking about jeremiah wright.
