On the day before the election....

I am driving around Kids to hang door hangers on targeted voters doors (where else would you hang a door hanger?. Remind them where their voting location is and a number where they can call if they need a ride.

We tried to do stuff like this back in 1998 but we didn't have access to enough computers. We only got out about 1/4 of what we wanted.

They have people who will call to see if these folks who got the Door hanger have voted yet and will then offer to give them a ride.

This is really sophisticated stuff that few campaigns have ever done in this area.

We are talking about really red suburban areas of Cleveland.

Obama's targeting process is awesome, to borrow a catch phrase from the youngsters.

I can't do to much else since I am performing as a treasurer for a state-wide campaign, but MrsWCGreen is out in force, organizing like crazy.

I'm still a little leary about Ohio. But if this is the effort they are putting together in the Red areas, I wish I had the time to check out what they are doing in the Bluer areas.
