11. Many DUers will tell you that an 8% deficit is easy pickings, at least when it comes to PA
Those DUers are morons, but that's beside the point.

I believe one person was picked out by an Obama staff to represent the whole state.

How many people out of all the population here are you speaking of?

9. Once again: McPalin must win ALL those states to have ANY chance!

Even if Obama were to lose ALL those states, he would be still favored to win by taking kerry states + IA + NM + CO.
These numbers aren't about whether Obama is winning or not, they are about whether we're in landslide terrain or not.
Veredict: LANDSLIDE.

:woohoo:

15. Virginia is slipping away from McCain
Early votes are being bagged by the day, before they can change their mind and fall victim to the quadrennial Republican October surprise.

21. Virginia +10 is incredible news. It puts Obama over 270 only counting his strong (≥+10) states...

I noticed this on Phrig's Daily Math post today.

Obama was at 260 when you only count the states where his lead is 10 points or more. If Virginia goes into that column (and others don't move out of it), he has enough electoral votes without even counting states that are "weak" or "leaning."

36. What pass are you giving Robert C. Byrd?
He was for Obama while Hillary was still running. He has also done much for the state.
What kind of pass are you wanting to revoke?

35. Those numbers are close enough for a GOP steal.
I don't want to be right. It's just that if they're purging double digits, then we're looking at another count-off. I'm nervous. The numbers should be way way way bigger than this. I believe they are. I don't believe the polls. But if these numbers are true, I would not call it a landslide. I'd call it a recount after the GOP fraud is perpetrated. I'm holding my breath. Darn it. I can't get happy yet.

42. Get happy - just don't get complacent
I don't think they could get away with a steal with these numbers. If they do it, I'm sure Obama won't concede and I'll be part of a peaceful march on Washington.

43. That's right. Obama has 5000 lawyers.
I still think the numbers reflect a braindead country. But then I'm a perfectionist.

We don't have long to find out. I guess it's another donation to the Obama campaign, for me.
