Comments regarding "Socialism"
In the last few days of the campaign, the Republicans are reduced to name-calling. Now they are calling Obama a socialist. I keep hearing republicans lamenting that they are not ready for socialism. Two responses have come to mind:

1. It's hard to socialize a Republican. The best you can hope for is house breaking.

2. In order for capitalism to be successful, don't you need some capital?

2. Obama asked today: "Was McCain a socialist in 2000, when he was against the Bush tax cuts?"
"It shows that they are running out of ideas"
