Virginia
NBC Poll only at 2%.

I think most polls outpace that. What have Virginians heard?

1. Last Mason-Dixon VA poll was McCain by 3%, so it's fine (apples to apples)

3. NBC poll? You mean Mason Dixon poll.....
which had McCain up by 3 last time.

Means a 5 point gain for Obama in the meantime.

This poll is Republican leaning, and always polls better for Republicans.

This means that on the average, Obama is most likely up by more than that.

Called it NBC poll, but I see Real Clear says NBC/Mason Dixon.

Good to hear it is moving positive. Thanks.

4. The pollster was Mason-Dixon, they had McCain ahead by 3 last week.

So even this poll shows a movement towards Obama in VA.

Other polls say Obama +6-10:

8. "Last week's" Mason-Dixon poll was based off of 9/29-10/1.
They didn't poll again until 10/20.

It's been a major source of frustration for me because all of our local news stations kept referencing the Mason Dixon poll for the last 20 days without even mentioning it was terribly out of date.

7. It's a crock.
It's Mason-Dixon which is not only right wing oriented, but also failed to poll since 10/1.

I'd go so far as to say the +10s are a little too high. +6 is more like it.

10. Virginia is going blue. Count on it.
At the behest of the college students who are really, really fired up about Obama.
