My sister just called me and told me a tin foil hat story regarding McCain:
She said that several days ago, she doesn't remember when exactly, maybe over the weekend, she was listening to local news out of Houston and that they said McCain had visited Brazoria which is southeast of Houston. There wasn't a campaign stop or rally. It was just a blip on the news. My sister lives in that area and said there had been alot of helocopter activity that day. There were only two reasons she could figure for this surreptitious visit: McCain landed in Brazoria county to take HWY 288 up to the Texas Medical Center where M.D. Anderson is, or he was meeting with GHW Bush in River Oaks or another nearby place. The M. D. Anderson (cancer center) visit seems more realistic to me.

What do you think? Does sis need to get a hearing aide? :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat:

1. I believe he recently got bad news about his health & they are suppressing it.
Just my uninformed opinion.

The man is not fit to be prez - physically or mentally. The fact that he chose a bat-shit crazy religious zealot as his running mate scares the fucking crap out of me! She is the most frightening person to ever come this close to the White House!

2. Did something happen recently that brought you to this conclusion?
I think you are correct, and I also believe that sometime after the election, someone is going to spill the beans about a cancer recurrence. I think they are hiding something big as well.

I think Palin isn't bothering to release her medical info because she knows it won't matter for at least three more years, and McCain only had bad news about himself.

11. Well there was that incident a few weeks ago where he faltered &
was clearly disoriented on stage. Even the pundits spoke about it. Shortly after, he took a day off (or was it two?) from campaigning. There were no reports of what he was doing then. But mostly I base it on the fact that he doesn't look well. He's not a specimen of health to begin with & at his age this campaign has got to take a toll on him, but he looks & sounds worse than usual.

If he weren't running such a despicable campaign & foisted that hateful Palin zealot on us, I could almost feel sorry for the man. I believe he has wanted the presidency for so long, but I think recently it's more than that. He's transcended from wanting it to believing he is entitled to it. In his mind, he deserves it because he was a POW & also because after the reprehensible way boosh treated him during the 2000 primaries, he forgave that & went on to become one of boosh's strongest supporters. He sacrificed his integrity & pinned everything on boosh & it has not paid off & he is royally pissed.

Then, here comes this young whipper-snapper, who has only been in the Senate a few years, & he's still not winning. I'll bet when Obama was nominated, McCain thought he had this in the bag. I really don't think race is much of an issue for McCain as age is. In his mind, Obama has not 'paid his dues.' He does not deserve to be president. McCain does.

Palin on the other hand is a fucking racist.

In the words of Dennis Miller, before he got scared & went right wing, "That's just my opinion. I could be wrong."

:hi:

7. It's clear that he is in very poor health. He looks terrible and his memory is shot.
He can barely read a speech from the teleprompter, and his performance during the debates was bizarre. He can't remember his position on major issues from one day to the next.

Yes, he's in poor health.

12. Sounds plausible to me
And he'll get help from the MSM - they won't make hay of anything that could harm the McCain campaign and skew the election night results further in Obama's favor.

I think he'd have to collapse in the middle of a campaign speech before the media reported anything.

13. He is on medication for something
He keeps sticking his tongue out. It looks like a weird side effect of some medication. Of course, I have no idea of what medication or for what illness, but I would bet money that he is on something.

19. That's Tardive Dyskensia
It's a common side effect to a whole of medications. I had to go off Effexor because of it and it appears to have done permanent damage because I'm still doing it several years later.

16. Compare McCain 18 months ago to McCain today
http://www.americablog.com/2008/10/compare-mccain-18-months-ago-to-mccain.html

I was watching a video I posted earlier from TPM, and I noticed how strong, smart and energetic McCain was during one of the Republican debates. It was a McCain I'd not seen for a long while, but one I vaguely remembered. I checked the date and saw it was from May of last year, 2007. Then I watched McCain making his gaffe yesterday in Pennsylvania. They're two totally differently people. The McCain of today is less sure of himself, stumbles with his words, loses his train of thought, gets confused. He looks much older. He evens sounds older. The old McCain (of 18 months ago) had a lower voice. The new McCain has a higher raspy voice. It's kind of weird how much he's aged in just 18 months - and he's not even president yet. So I put the videos side by side. See for yourself.

17. That's pretty tinfoily. Yes, McCain looks ill, but why not use a helicopter to
go directly to the Medical Center? I somehow doubt the Secret Service is letting McCain travel in a single vehicle. A small motorcade going up 288 would be noticeable at most hours of the day. I must say, though, I'm enjoying the thought of them getting all messed up by the roadwork in the vicinity of M.D. Anderson...

24. Maybe they did use a helocopter. Ellington Field is nearby, but
that isn't "Brazoria". I don't understand why Brazoria was given as the location.

I've been trying to find a media reference to what she heard, and I haven't. The only date that makes sense is around October 18, a Saturday when he would have finished up early at a NC rally (EDT), and then maybe come to Texas. (There was nothing else on the schedule online for that day.)

18. Interesting. I do wonder ifthere's anything to what your sis heard. I really do
think, however, that 90% of McCain's appearance and behavior can be explained by exhaustion. One doesn't need a scary medical diagnosis to go along with this. He needs a ton of rest, regardless of whatever health issues he may or may not have.
