Sarah Palin is to give deposition in NEW investigation on Friday

For those who don't know, the Mccain/Palin campaign had previously tried to undermine the first investigation by declaring it had no proper jurisdiction over a matter like this - it was a Legislative committee that had hired a special investigator.

So, they turned to the Alaska Personnel Board. Ironically, this Board went ahead and hired a gung-ho independent counsel (a democrat) who immediately broadened the investigation to include several other ethics complaints. The Board is a 3-member entity with Executive branch legal authority.

Both of the Palins are set to give depositions on Friday.

The investigator is being forced to fly out to meet the Palins, wherever they will be.
