2. Refers to an old line about stock market crashes. "Even a dead cat
will bounce if it falls far enough." Talking about bounces in the stock market when it falls a huge number.

PA. Governor Ed Rendell was quoted in the Harrisburg Patriot-News this morning:

"Just this past week, the Obama campaign knocked on 370,000 doors in Pennsylvania and made 720,000 telephone contacts. That's an extraordinary figure."
