Palin shops at Neimann Marcus, Joe the Plumber shops at Pay Less
Sarah Palin drops 150K on pantsuits, Joe the Plumber drops $15 on a pair of pants... John Mccain has 10 houses, Joe the Plumber has one, John McCain has 13 cars, Joe the Plumber has one. Barack Obama has one house, one car, too, and will give Joe a tax cut.

Joe calls Obama a socialist, dreams about having 10 houses and 13 cars, dreams about the tax hike he won't get on the business he can't buy.

What is wrong with this picture?

2. I can believe it.
But it's not like she has to wear a new outfit for every appearance... she is not Imelda Marcos, for G-d's sake. She blathers on about all of the "Joe the Plumbers" out there... personally, I think it is Cindy McCain's influence. Cindy wears Escada suits at $3,000- $4,000 a pop, and wore the famous $300K outfit to the GOP convention. These people have no concept of how the "real" Americans they tout really live.

I enjoy perusing their furniture online... I love love love some of their furniture but it is so godammned expensive... I am waiting for a fire sale to buy this ottoman: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod24920245

I don't blow a lot on wardrobe, but love nice things for the house... *sigh* :)

12. Oh. My. Gracious.
What an absolute hoot... here's my favorite part:
Spokesperson Tracey Schmitt said, "It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign."

Sarah is going to bundle up all of those suits and shoes into black garbage bags and trundle them right off to the Salvation Army receptacle bright and early on Nov 5! Why of course dear...

7. But, but, but...
Palin is a hockey mom. She shops at Wal-Mart. You mean to tell me that she is pretending to be something she is not? I'm shocked!

:sarcasm:

Power hungry wannabe demagogue with 150K in clothes & makeup while talking to and about Jo(s)e six-pack.

17. I just found this: What would you do with $150000?
http://notmygal.com/2008/10/22/what-would-you-do-with-150000/

"6,000 cans of baby formula
50,000 clean-delivery kits ensuring safe childbirth
10,000 foil pouches containing antiretroviral drugs for newborns of HIV mothers"

More at link.
