For all you "Latest Polls" junkies, here's the site for you!
Yes, I'll admit it, I was once a "Latest Polls" junkie too, but that was back in 2004 when I was really worried that Kerry might "Lose" to Bush, or that Bush might find a way to steel another election (which he did), but this year I feel much better about the Obama v. BushMcCain upcoming election.

But for those of you who are still worried, or just want to follow how we are doing in the battle for 60 seats in the U.S. Senate, check out the site at the link below:

http://www.electoral-vote.com/

Yes, it not a very fancy site and it hasn't changed much since the 2004 election, but the guy who runs it is definitely a Democrat (who lives overseas). Plus, since he lives overseas his site is usually updated while most of us are asleep.

This site (at the link) is where I spent most of my time in 2004 back before I started spending most of my political on-line time here at DU.

2. Already one of my favourites...
And as I'm also abroad I need all the virtual stuff available.
Check out the cartogram which stretches states by size of EV and then you see a real picture of the election.
538.com
RealClearPoliticis
Electoral-Vote.com

Thats my usual go-to list.
Cheers
BK

5. electoral-vote.com was a treasure in 2004, but fivethirtyeight.com puts Tanenbaum's site to shame.
He's slow with his polls and mediocre with his analysis. I only visit to compare 2004 stats.

6. Personally, I still like the simplicity of the site, so I try not to judge too harshly...
...what did he say his name was, I remember he told us right around election day 2004, but I completely forgot it almost immediately.

7. He's this guy

(I happened to use one of his textbooks in one of my courses in the semester following the election.)
