After the election, will Bush and his puppet masters really give up all power?
Edited on Wed Oct-22-08 01:25 AM by The Craw
I have a hard time believing Bush and Chenney will quietly go into the night after the election- Given their lies and deception in the 2000 and 2004 elections, and their attempts to vastly increase executive power, I can't see them just walking away from such powerful positions-
I don't believe for a second the conspiracy dread that Bush will cancel the election, but i wonder if the Bush cabal will try and keep their thumb in the pie of executive power beyond 2008...

Is there any indication that they may try and control the next president? If Mccain wins, i could see that happening- If Obama wins, no chance in Hell...

2. You think the oil companies are going to close up?
Or that the armaments corporations will file for bankruptcy?

No, the puppet masters won't go away, they'll just pull different strings. There are many repubs left in office and plenty of Democrats willing to support wars for political contributions. And yes, they will have their moles in Obama's inner circle just as they did with Clinton, Carter, LBJ and JFK.

Electing Obama isn't a single action that's going to change the world by itself. It will take constant pressure and support from the progressive movement to keep the wolves at bay.

5. Somehow I doubt Bush wants to stick around.
Didnt he just buy 100,000 acres somewhere in south america?

6. The roaches will crawl into the corporate privatized wing of it.
That's a big chunk of the government by now. Or they'll just plain lobby... sit on boards of directors... scarf up some of that bail out money... Nazify Paraguay...

So much to do. In defeat is when they REALLY need watching.

7. No. They already have agreements in place with both Iraq and private companies that go beyond 1/09.

8. Nah, he is out the door
the wall street and mortgage crisis was his last gift to his cronies...think about how much undervalued real estate they are buying now, and their sell off on wall street, and their GOLD purchases going through the roof...the money pot is drying up, nothing left to pillage...time to hit the private sector. Wherever Tony Blair is working, that is where he goes too.
