Cool! I just saw El Tinklenberg's (Michele "anti-American" Bachmann's opponent) new TV ad!

I heard on MPR (Minnesota Public Radio) this afternoon that he's now gotten over 1 million dollars in donations since Bachmann's appearance on Hardball last Friday, and that he had a new TV ad coming out today.

So, I finally saw it -- and it's GREAT! I tried to find a link to an online video of this ad (his website, unfortunately, is not exactly up to date), but was unsucessful. So, all I can say is that all the donations that have poured into his campaign from all over the country was definitely money well-spent.

Briefly, the ad goes through a quick resume of El's community service with sharp, effective images, and ends on a well-stated note about the importance of working in commonality.

Without directly referencing Bachmann's divisive remarks, it offers a powerful counterpoint. I was very happily impressed. Just wanted to let folks know that it appears that his windfall is being put to good use, imho.

8. You had to watch quick to catch the first

part with bachman and her numbers chart going down..in fact I watched it twice to catch it.

El Tinklenberg is all about the Positive! What an 180 degree turn from bachman.

on the cake. I'd LOVE to see her christo-fascist ass sent packing!

I'm not in her district, so I can't personally vote against her -- but it would be so sweet to see her crash and burn!

That ad didn't. It was probably already prepared before Bachmann made her remarks. Nothing like striking when the ole iron is hot.

I like it. Excellent production and it is easy to understand, it has a positive, upbeat feeling. He seems like a likable, can-do kind of fellow.
