Just Imagine if it were possible to enforce a truth-in-candidacy law, and apply it to the McCain / Palin ticket. Their slogan would be:

Vote McCain / Palin, Stay in Iraq, Attack IRAN -- ENJOY $7.00 a GALLON Gas

Has anyone been studying or repeating the rather obvious connection between Middle East instability and world gas prices? Or the fact that gas prices dip temporarily before big elections?

We're lucky that Obama's got it in the bag. Big time -- and more than any poll is reporting --- because the polls understate and undersample Democratic demographics that can't be reached by phone (cell phone only users) or who don't answer the phone (those in collections, the ill, those working 2 or more jobs, the mobile/in transition folks, etc.)
