1. The chin yes, but he's got his grandmother's (and mother's) smile.
I wish her the speediest recovery. She so deserves to see her boy make history.

8. Boy! Boy! Boy!?
Just kidding..............

He'll always be her boy - even when he's a Grandfather himself!

12. OMG, you're right. Like the way she tilts her head to smile, Obama does the same thing.
I just noticed that when you pointed it out and it makes that cool triangle sort of shap when he grins, it does match his grandmother. But then I felt Obama looks exactly like his mum who looks like her parents.

15. It's the shape of his face that draws interest. In the photos on the cover of "Dreams"...
... Barack is centered between two family snapshots. On the left is an African woman holding a toddler (his grandmother and father? probably), on the right is his American grandfather and a toddler (ie his mother). The Kenyan faces are quite round and relatively broad. His grandpa Dunham's face is long and narrow, bearing a striking resemblance to the adult Barack.

So yes, he does resemble both sides of his family. But as with many families, one set of features predominates. It's not a color thing, I don't think.

Hekate
